Photography in Lockdown – Ealing, UK

May 5, 2020 / Daniel McNamara / Leave a comment

DSC_6193 With travel and landscape photography off the cards for the moment (I probably would have just about gotten round to editing all my photos from my cancelled Japan trip by now.) I decided to get myself a macro conversion attachment for my camera. £10 for some really cool photo opportunities.

Highlands and Inverness-shire – Scotland

February 12, 2020February 12, 2020 / Daniel McNamara / 1 Comment

DSC_5675Following a busy few days preparing for and shooting Carly and Paul's wedding and having already made the journey way north of the border, Nadine and I extended our stay in Scotland and travelled north-west to stay in Fort William for New Year.

Paul and Carly’s Wedding – Airth Castle: Falkirk, Scotland

January 19, 2020 / Daniel McNamara / Leave a comment

DSC_5279 Paul has a close connection with Scotland, with both his parents being from Glasgow and coincidently his late grandparents living in Musselburgh just outside Edinburgh - where some of my family came to settle too. Carly had always dreamed of a castle wedding so Scotland was the obvious choice for them.

Dolomites & South Tirol – Italy

August 12, 2019 / Daniel McNamara / 3 Comments

dsc_3303 Give me a holiday in the mountains over a beach holiday. I love the ever-changing landscape in mountainous regions and the landscape of the Dolomites mountain range in South Tirol, Northern Italy was no exception.

DSC_3219I'm getting a bit fed up of seeing babies on social media... so here's another one for the collection. My sister gave birth to a girl on Friday 5th of July - Here are some photos of her at just over a week old.

Caffeine & Machine – Stratford-upon-Avon, UK

July 8, 2019 / Daniel McNamara / Leave a comment

DSC_3086 Having two instagram accounts following hundreds of classic, sports and modified car related users, a name that has consistently popped up over the last few years has been 'Caffeine & Machine'. Home of cool cars, combustion and coffee.

Petrolicious – Bicester Heritage, Oxfordshire

DSC_2452 This felt very unlike any other car show I have attended. A super-chilled and classy atmosphere with some epic cars on show in some beautifully restored surroundings. A truly immersive experience. I geeked out massively and Nadine enjoyed it too.

Easter Weekend – Canterbury, UK

May 11, 2019 / Daniel McNamara / Leave a comment

DSC_2273 For Easter weekend my mum rented a sweet cottage in Canterbury for the family to use to the weekend. Built in the 1600s, The Old Alms House set in the beautiful Kent countryside was a fantastic base for our family.

Nice – Côte d’Azur, France

April 22, 2019April 22, 2019 / Daniel McNamara / Leave a comment

DSC_1808 This would be my third visit to Nice. I love the area, owing mostly to the variety in activities and scenery of the area. It also has fantastic and affordable transport links that can take you east and west along the southern coast of France and over the Italian border in less than an hour.

Kew Gardens – London, UK

April 10, 2019 / Daniel McNamara / Leave a comment

DSC_1584 It has been a year since my Granny passed away. To commemorate this, our family took a trip to Kew Gardens. This was a favourite place for both my grandparents who were keen gardeners.
