Tenby, Pembrokeshire – South Wales
Having moved into a new flat and Nadine using some annual leave to do so, we spent a couple of days in South Wales - Nadine, being a Dutchy hasn't visited Wales before so we made the drive west for a flying visit, stopping by in Cardiff on the way.
Highlands and Inverness-shire – Scotland
Following a busy few days preparing for and shooting Carly and Paul's wedding and having already made the journey way north of the border, Nadine and I extended our stay in Scotland and travelled north-west to stay in Fort William for New Year.
Petrolicious – Bicester Heritage, Oxfordshire
This felt very unlike any other car show I have attended. A super-chilled and classy atmosphere with some epic cars on show in some beautifully restored surroundings. A truly immersive experience. I geeked out massively and Nadine enjoyed it too.
Easter Weekend – Canterbury, UK
For Easter weekend my mum rented a sweet cottage in Canterbury for the family to use to the weekend. Built in the 1600s, The Old Alms House set in the beautiful Kent countryside was a fantastic base for our family.
The Living Rainforest – Newbury, Berkshire
I woke up early on Sunday for a 'risk assessment' visit to The Living Rainforest for a science school trip I am planning to take some of my pupils on. It was also a chance for me to get some photos of some exotic animals and plants.
Scotland
Scotland will always be a special place for me. I spent many holidays and Christmases in and around Edinburgh, visiting grandparents and family and I still visit every couple of years. It holds a great amount of nostalgia for me and I still see the city as a unique and beautiful place to visit.
Oxford
About an hour from Ealing is Oxford - famed for its impressive university buildings. The area has a notably different vibe to that of your typical university town and understandably so, its home to some of the world's most intelligent minds.
52 Weeks Photo Challenge: Week 8 – Pink
I'm taking an alternative perspective on week 8 of the 52 Week Photo Challenge. I need to keep up to date with the blog and also need to share some exciting photos! The theme this week is 'Pink'.
Deer
A follow up to last month's post; 'Oh Deer!' This time shot in Bushy Park at about 4pm. There was a really nice warm light on the park and a moody dark sky...
