You're never too old for a farm visit. A trip to Bocketts Farm in Dorking, Surrey allowed me to capture some photos of lambing season. Taking photos of animals can be tricky as they rarely sit still and often interfere with the 'perfect shot' that I have spotted through the viewfinder. However, I love trying to capture the animals' personalities in the photographs.
I'm taking an alternative perspective on week 8 of the 52 Week Photo Challenge. I need to keep up to date with the blog and also need to share some exciting photos! The theme this week is 'Pink'.
The first stop in our trip to Switzerland was Zurich. Arriving early in the morning we started as we meant to go on, by walking. Walking very long distances! We explored the city on foot and by tram. The weather was glorious and unexpectedly hot. After monitoring weather forecasts closely we had prepared for rain but as with previous short breaks... We got lucky!
With a trip to Switzerland in the Easter holidays I am hoping to capture some really wide landscape shots of the Swiss Alps and valleys. The lens has a 180° angle so it can capture a vast landscape.
A really interesting theme for this week's 52 Week Photo Challenge. I have portrayed the theme in a couple of ways with my photos and as mentioned in my previous post - I even managed to get the camera out and snap an original, solely for the challenge!
The next stop in my aim to visit as many European countries as possible took me to Krakow, Poland. It was a very chilly visit with temperatures dropping to -8ºC at times.
I love the use of reflection in photography and it also gave me a chance to look back through my photos from the last few years and reflect on how lucky I have been to visit some amazing places.
Friday 30th of September - Monday 3rd October. Eleven of my closest friends and I made our way to Lisbon to celebrate Matt Connolly's 'Stag do'...
