Sunsets and sunrises will always be mesmerising. This is particularly true when visiting different countries. For this week’s 52 Weeks Photo Challenge I have scoured some of my more successful and interesting sunrise photographs.
Iceland in the winter months provides a near all-day sunrise/sunset situation, making the ‘golden hour‘ last from 9am until about 1pm! Perfect for creating interesting and colourful light to the awesome natural wonders of the country.

A 5am start in Siem Reap, Cambodia took us to experience sunrise over Angkor Wat – the world largest collection of religious buildings. The ancient ruins appeared spectacularly in the early morning light.
